Functions

By activating the service you will receive SMS and/or emails for:

  1. Account transactions
  2. Exchange rates (morning/afternoon currency rates)
  3. Share prices (closing stock price)
  4. Digital Channels

You can select the language of your alerts (Greek, English or Russian).

Auto Setup Alerts

The following alerts are auto setup to notify you for the following reasons:

  1. Standing Orders / Direct Debits not Executed
  2. Change of marketing preferences
  3. Notification for new card available for pick up
  4. Notification  for chequebook available for pick up
  5. Start / stop paper statement
  6. Change contact information (mobile telephone number, email  address)
Security Alerts

The following alerts are automatically opened and cannot be deleted / removed, since they include updates to enhance your security in 1bank:

  1. ATM Withdrawals  (for individual and business cardholders)
  2. Card Purchases (for individual and business cardholders)
  3. 1bank passcode change
  4. Passcode locked after 3 consecutive incorrect attempts to login to 1bank
  5. Unlock 1bank passcode
  6. Activation of 1bank passcode
  7. Lock/disable of Digipass
  8. Lock of “Security Questions” after incorrect responses

In addition, the following two Alerts are also available, which you can setup if you wish, by selecting the menu option “Alerts”:

  1. 1bank Login
  2. New Secure Message received

  3. Direct Debits

Activation

HOW CAN YOU ACTIVATE THE “ALERTS” SERVICE: 

  • For 1bank subscribers, using the 1bank Internet Banking “Alerts” menu option. Use of the Alerts service is subject to the Terms and Conditions of 1bank. Applies for individuals and legal entities.
  • From any Bank of Cyprus branch by signing the relevant application - applies only for individuals.
